The cleaning service in Region Blekinge is part of the meal and cleaning unit within Regionservice.

Our work is an important part of ensuring a clean and safe environment for both staff and patients. The cleaning and deep cleaning department in the west is responsible for premises in the western part of the county, including everything from administrative buildings to healthcare facilities such as operating rooms.

The Job

The role of a summer substitute cleaner with us involves maintaining the hygiene standards set for Region Blekinge's premises. Your main tasks include being responsible for and performing cleaning in an individual cleaning area within western Blekinge, which you do through daily cleaning, infection cleaning, floor care, deep cleaning, and machine cleaning with the support of modern cleaning equipment, cleaning machines, and clear routines through routine descriptions.

The summer substitute position lasts for approximately 8–10 weeks, starting in week 25, and includes an introduction to the work. We hope you can work the entire period, but there is also the possibility to adjust the period if desired.

About You

To be eligible for the position of summer substitute cleaner during the holiday periods, you must be at least 18 years old at the start of employment and have documented high school qualifications or ongoing high school education with documented semester grades. Furthermore, you must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good reading comprehension. Experience in cleaning work with machine cleaning and/or SRY training is considered an advantage. Since we perform cleaning in Region Blekinge's premises located in various places in the county, having a B driver's license is also considered an advantage for summer substitutes with us.

We are looking for someone who is meticulous and responsible, with the ability to work independently and take initiative. You are flexible and can easily adapt to new situations, even with short notice. As a person, you are calm, attentive, and accommodating, which makes you thrive in a role where you contribute to a safe and pleasant environment for others.
